| Objective of the Program | Bidhyarthi Niti is a project where the whole school is simulated to be a state, where the elected students form a model parliament, and the school administration acts as a presidential authority. Students are elected among class, clubs, houses, and are directly elected among all. Legislature and executive is formed, to discuss issues of students and better represent them. Projects, events, ideas are proposed by the elected representatives in the student’s parliament as bills, and passed by the Student’s legislature, and then proposed to Student’s Presidential office i.e. school’s administration for authentication. We found, students are encouraged to identify the issues in school and present them following Nepal’s parliamentary procedure, making them more aware of the law making process and fostering healthy students-school relationships. |
